Bushel CEO Speaks At U.S. Grains Council’s 61st Annual Board of Delegates Meeting

In July 2021, our CEO and co-founder, Jake Joraanstad, had the opportunity to present to the U.S. Grains Council’s 61st Annual Board of Delegates meeting. This was an opportunity to meet with some of the most influential farmers, originators, merchandisers and exporters in the grain industry. The U.S. Grains Council develops export markets for U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and ethanol.

With full-time presence in 28 locations, the Council operates programs in more than 50 countries and the European Union. We were excited to be one of the few ag tech startups able to present to the national organization representing the full value chain. The USCG recognizes how the supply chain is evolving and focusing on the companies that are proactively participating in building a better future.

“Our hope is data can flow faster than the grain sitting in the truck on the road.” – USGC board member, Josh Miller

The follow-up comment from USGC board member, Josh Miller, visioning an end to phone calls and texts trying to track down scale tickets was exactly the alignment between Bushel and the USGC.
