Bushel Platform Now Integrates with EFC Systems Merchant Ag ERP

Collaboration Provides Better Value for Agribusinesses and Farm Producers

FARGO, N.D., July 14, 2022 Bushel, an independently owned software company for the agricultural supply chain, announced today an integration with EFC Systems’ Merchant Ag ERP software. This integration will allow agribusinesses to provide real-time business information through Bushel’s digital tools including its mobile app and web portal created specifically for agribusinesses.

“We continue to hear from our grain merchandisers and ag retailers who are looking for ways to improve the digital customer experience for their producers. ,” said Ernie Chappell, President and founder, EFC Systems. “Integrating with Bushel means our customers are getting the best in digital experience for their customers.”

Current data-sharing processes in agribusinesses are manual and fragmented, resulting in lost productivity and revenue potential. Bushel’s technologies aim to solve some of the industry’s biggest challenges and bring the grain supply chain together through connected, standardized and properly-permissioned data. By integrating with business software grain merchandisers and ag retailers are already using, it provides a streamlined, efficient way for that business information to get into the hands of producers at any time and in any location. This strengthens relationships between agribusiness and farmers, saving time on clerical conversations, and focusing communication on improving grain marketing and other strategic business conversations.

“Collaborating within ag tech is going to move innovation further along as we break out of technology silos and provide a better experience to the agricultural industry,” Amy Krauth, Director of Partnerships at Bushel said. “Integrations with Merchant Ag along with our other ERPs is how we can continue building on agriculture’s digital infrastructure and continue solving real problems for agribusinesses and their producer customers.”

Last year, Bushel announced an integration with EFC System’s FieldAlytics software to provide spatial, detailed financial models based on scouting, sampling, planning and fertility activities within Bushel powered mobile apps.
