Nathan Jennings Joins Bushel as CRO

FARGO, N.D., November 2, 2021 Bushel, an independently-owned software technology company focused on developing solutions for the grain supply chain, today announced the addition of Nathan Jennings as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Jennings will be leading efforts in building channel partnerships, growing accounts and sales team development.

Bushel is seeing increased business momentum and demand for its platform through the expansion of its product lines and increased marketshare. In 2021, Bushel acquired FarmLogs and GrainBridge. As the company’s first CRO, Jennings will continue this momentum by bringing standardization and talent development to the sales teams. He will focus on hiring and developing the best people in the market and, drawing from experience executing similar programs at category-leading companies, will focus on rallying the entire organization on a shared sales process and go-to-market playbook.

“As we continue to build out the digital infrastructure throughout the entire supply chain, we look to Nathan’s leadership to help provide the best customer experience when deciding to partner with Bushel,” Jake Joraanstad, Bushel CEO and Co-Founder said. “We manage customer accounts from the local country elevator all the way to the largest agricultural companies in the world. Nathan’s experiences will help us manage and scale those relationships to ultimately drive higher and consistent revenues to the organization.”

Jennings joins Bushel with more than 20 years of experience driving global sales at leading companies such as Call Box, Optum, and BEA Systems. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President of Sales at Call Box where he scaled the sales team for revenue growth while maintaining profitability goals. He also created and managed a sales enablement program for both new hires and existing sales team members. Prior to his time at Call Box, Jennings was a Regional Vice President at Optum where was selected as a member of the Optum culture development program and served on the compensation committee to establish a hybrid client/solution sales force that worked together to achieve company objectives.

“The commitment of the Bushel team is incredible. They’re passionate about the grain industry, know their clients well, and are committed to the hard work required to become a trusted, value-add partner,” Jennings said. “I look forward to not just developing a world-class sales team, but also ensuring that sales, customer success, marketing and product development are in lock step together.”
