Skyland Grain Launches New Mobile App

App puts harvest in grower’s hands with real-time scale tickets, contracts, markets, and more

JOHNSON, KS – Skyland Grain, LLC announced today the release of its new Skyland Grain mobile app.

The free mobile app allows producers easy access to real-time information including electronic scale tickets, contracts pre-pays, price-laters and cash bids. The app integrates with TraxView, an accounting software from AgTrax.

“This app seamlessly connects us directly to our producers and puts the power in their hands–with the ability to make decisions on-the-go with information they need from our grain facilities and the industry,” said David Cron, CEO, Skyland Grain, LLC.

Skyland Grain LLC, headquartered in Johnson, Kansas is a joint venture that began in 2004 with Johnson Cooperative Grain Co. and ADM Grain Co. Syracuse Cooperative Exchange joined the venture in 2010 Cairo Cooperative Equity Exchange in 2015. These coops have served many producers for nearly a century.

The venture includes 24 grain facilities in Kansas and Colorado that combine for a total licensed grain storage capacity of approximately 50 million bushels. Kansas’ locations include: Syracuse, Kendall, Big Bow, Johnson, Manter, Saunders, Elkhart, Rolla, Cairo, Dermot, South Cairo, Cunningham, Preston, Turon, Penalosa, Brown Spur, Arlington, Waldeck, and Calista. Colorado locations are: Walsh, Buckeye and Vilas. Oklahoma locations include: Wild Horse and Hough.
